A year's end, a new step to look forward to

This year blew me away by far... 2007 was more surprising than 2006 and this is why i am looking at 2008 with a curious eye.

On 22.11.2007, eMotion Concept entered the 4th year since its first spark and it seems that it will have a very interesting year to look forward to.

As a short recap, this year we have started to sponsor for the first time events like the "Ideas and Projects Workshop (IPW)" conferences and courses, we have started to share our knowledge through the trainings we organized with students from Politehnica or customers of Cefora Corporate's portfolio of clients, we have made the big leap into creating our first product, Resume, which will see the light of day in January, available only for Internet Explorer at first, but soon on all popular platforms (Firefox, Opera, Safari). And this was just a part of the whole...

Close to the year's end we have moved to a new office, close to the very heart of Bucharest, in Sema Park (Splaiul Independentei nr 309C) and we made it our home. New people have joined the crew and made eMotion Concept a part of their every day life.

It has been quite a year for us and more will soon be revealed as our journey will take us to new steps and challenges that we have planned for us.

So, i would like to thank all of our partners, friends, testers and everyone who came in touch with us and pushed us further, for all their support and enthusiasm displayed for us.
We are going to keep rasing the bar and aim as high as we can in our search to provide the best software and services.

Last but not least, I would like to thank you, the readers of this blog for being close to us and coming back more and more with each month (as the site statistics say). Your involvement made a difference and that matters very much to us.

I would like to end this year's posts with one of the most touching talks on ted.com that I've had the occasion to see since i've started watching their site. It is a 30 minute resume of Evelyn Glennie's talk about how to listen music with your whole body.

I chose this one as the final movie for this year because our company's name is eMotion Concept and it has been chosen this way because we believe that any solution or service we offer should have that special "something" that should give you the sense of achievement, of "job well done", of "wow!". It is clear that through the simple words this cannot be formulated, but i hope you'll understand more about our philosophy by watching Evelyn's unique performance.
